Younger the child is adopted, fewer problems. Males adopted children are at great risks of problems. Aversive environment have more influence on males. Adoptive families talk about the birth families. Children"s happiness about the level of the openness. May be a slight increased in problems. Goal is to reunite child with birth parents. Children are legally the responsibility of the government. Birth family and placement agency and foster family. The goal is still to return the child back to birth families.
