Divorces divided by marriages in a given year. # of divorces is divided by the number of marriages in a given year. Overestimates divorce rates, those married in a given years are not necessarily those at risk of divorce in that year necessarily those at risk of divorce in that year. Infl by the # of marriages in a year.
