Pythagoras:
-Was an early greek sage and religious innovator
-Went beyond these essentially religious beliefs of the master to develop philosophical,
mathematical,astronomical, and musical theories.
-The Milesians thought things were made up of water, boundless, or air; whereas, the
Pythagoreans thought that everything was made up of numbers.
-“Pythagoras became interested in mathematics for what apper to be religious reasons. His
