Engagement is more than just bringing people together to share their thoughts and ideas. It is about connectedness and collaboration as a village. There are a variety of different ways that community engagement is described in academic settings. Some call it community engaged learning or community. Service-learning , and still others call it volunteerism or internship . All of these terms fall under the broader term community engagement .
