Document Summary

N/a: calculate the rula grand score (you may want to include your worksheet in your lab write-up but it is not required) and the strain index. I feel that this task is acceptable if the amount of repetitions and effort exerted for each cycle was reduced that way there is less strain on the worker. When looking at the evaluations with both tools separately it is easily noticeable from the rula score that the positioning of the worker, and their technique are not what affects the overall acceptability of the task. Score is not that large of a number where the positioning is a concern. If i were to redesign the task, i would focus on repetitions and effort exertion through which technology can help. The screwdriver being physically winded into the wood is harder than using a drill to wind it in.
