The longer someone is exposed to hormones increases your risk! Ductocarcinoma (most common) affects the ducts in the epithelial tissue: not associated with fat or muscle of the breast. Location determines lymphatic spread: breast cancer on the lateral side is going to spread to the axillary lymphnodes. Manifestations: painless lump, lymphedema accumulation of lymph, tumour presses on lymphatic vessels, fluid accumulates in the tissues since its not being delivered to the ducts. Most common: the lung, liver and bone. Bone metastasis: some patients report deep boring pain within the bone. Stroma parts of the tissue that contribute to the functional part of the organ. Narrowing of the lumen caused by increased cell number of the prostate, leads to retention of urine, not able to expel, can develop uti"s because of urine that is not moving.
