Document Summary

Not what our system is, it is what they think it is. There is gaps and those gaps are meaningful. What citizens believe is the most important issue over time, healthcare always wins. Eliminating public health care negative response. Strange because we know that healthcare is only 70% public, and that number is shrinking. The confidence that canadians have in healthcare is slipping a bit, people are starting to become a little concerned. Canadians ranked issues on two scales: priority for government (things on bottom = low priority) and performance (left = poor performance) If you ask canadians typically nothing that is high priority is doing well. Healthcare was ranked as most important and as the least performing. Canadians think healthcare is super important and that we suck at it, but from data it suggests it is not a quality issue. If you live in an urban centre, access to you means wait times.
