Document Summary

Some reactions are able to be reversed and when this is possible many new things are introduced into the equation. Being able to reverse a reactions allows for many thing to be possible and during this lab we will be exploring some of the properties these reactions can have. By removing or adding reactants or products we can shift the reaction in different directions which can cause an increase or decrease in production. h2o (liquid) h2o (vapor) This principle states that if a system at equilibrium undergoes a change in temperature, pressure or concentration it can adjust itself in order to minimize the effects of the change. By adding more of a substance or by adding heat or pressure to to an exothermic reaction your can manipulate the amount of products or reactants used up. This is a measure of how weak or strong an acid is.
