Prevention can include bre, hydration, and physical activity: belching and gas. Foods that produce gas is usually determined individually, with the most common offenders being foods rich in carbohydrates (ie. sugars, starches, bres) When partially digested carbohydrates reach the large intestine, bacteria ferment them, giving off gas as a by-product: heartburn and ulcers.
