Rights as a person that demands certain treatment. Quacks and scammers preying on the desperately sick. One argument for patient access to treatments is justice. People get upset by that when they treat equality as a factual claim. Moral claim for equality is evaluative not factual. All people and things are defined by their function. What you do determines who you are and your value. Treat equal people equally and unequal people unequally. We"re moral beings with free will and reason. Treat all people as ends and never only as means. Treat all personal maxims as if they were universal rules. Human equality = people are equal regardless of our differences. 2 main types of justice: compensatory and distributive.
