Baby born with a fatal disease and didn"t have long to live, but his life could have been prolonged with a painful tracheotomy. The parents said they wanted joseph to die naturally when god wanted him to, not due to the interference of physicians: they also wanted to allow joseph to die at home. There was a legal battle and initially the doctors won, but a pro-life group from the us sent their lawyers up and the parents won. Baby joseph lived for another couple months after getting the surgery until eventually he died. Ethics: ancient art and science of decision making. Ethical theories: theories about what you should do. There is no moral certainty because there is no one right theory. Morals: the cultural codes of behaviour for a society. Moral reasons tend to deal with human rights, well-being, justice, virtue, delity to promises, dignity, and respect for. Immoral: it is bad (according to a particular theory)
