Environmentalism: natural resources no longer free, unlimited, overuse and abuse/damage, now - environmental sustainability, there are some effects on , people, animals, wilderness. Environmentalism best dealt with by: cost-benefit analysis, but, reduces everything to money. This would put the price on every piece of land. It would be hard to put the value on the land but also the life in that area. From a specific position individual, or group, or company. Since this is done by a company, it can make a biased decision that would benefit them the most. If two different sized lands are worth the same, one person would have more land even though its worth less: absolute principles, when there is something that are threatening to human life, they should definitely be cut off. If there a lead paint that is better than normal paint, it shouldn"t matter because lead is still deadly: best approach, basic prohibitions/absolute values for life and essentials of health.
