Canada is populated by people from many cultures, people from different backgrounds religions etc Many people chose canada to make their home bringing there cultures here to us. And so we have to know what their contributing to us. Cultural diversity is most apparent to first generation canadians. Content of socialization we receive affect how we develop. Most children internalize the specific values of the ethnic group to which they belong by about the age of 4. They will learn there is a ethnic hierarchy they will realize smoke are valued and some are not. Conventional something we expect unconventional something that goes against cultural norms. White parents have to beat their kids for social integration; so they don"t feel left out. To understand it must know both realities embedded in the joke. Humours serves as social safety valve allowing people to safely release difficulties/anger we hold.
