Degeneration and depth is the inevitable consequence of life. Although we all age, we must consider it a social and culture process as well as a natural one. We often talk about childhood, toddlers, elderly are a product of culture and society. It is the social and cultural process that demarcate different ages. Its society and culture that impose sharp discontinuities marking certain categories one from another. Cultural and society make a natural and continuous process into a cultural discontinuous process. There is a vast difference between minor and adult. In one context considered an adult and in another we are not. Does not follow physiology but culture and society. The canadian state plays a big role in adulthood. Age of sexual consent, the conditional right to marry, right to vote, medical consent, to enter employment , welfare benefit, donate organs, drink alcohol. There are also obligations, ex, pay income tax, go to war.
