Document Summary
Obviously must be modified (getting them back today) Main problem = did not read instructions. Forensic taphonomy study of events that occur after someone dies (postmortem [pm] changes to bone) What happened to the body between the time of death and the time of discovery. Not to be confused with ante or peri morterm. Consistent with: where and how body is found, tip or testimony. What was done to the body (attempt to conceal remains or manner of death [gunshot to the head, etc]) Movement of the body: animal, human, gravity, h20. Elapsed time since death = post-mortem interval. Informant claims suspect tried to burn the body. Bone is fire damaged and therefore consistent with the tip the informant gave. Informant claims: suspect tried to stir & breakup body parts, (new picture: many pieces (small) of bone, varied colour distribution from white to black, bone is broken and fragmentary, taphonomic changes are consistent with informants tip.
