Document Summary
Top 10 common causes of death: 4 of them have to do with diet. Starting at 2 years of age, what you eat affects your health. Cancer - uncontrolled proliferation of malignant cells. Broad distribution in body = fatally disrupt physiological function. Stroke - interruption in blood supply to all/parts of the brain. Often due to ruptured blood vessel or a type of blood clot. Death of nerve cells, paralysis, or loss of motor and other functions. Higher level of physical activity because they use physical labour to meet subsistence needs. Now we are very sedentary and tend to stay seated longer. Women gather far more than men do - men hunt more. Gathering is more important because you always end up with something and hunting it depends whether you find a kill. For them it took much less time to gather than it does for us now - much less work for them then than for us now.
