Document Summary

Can we do something for the good of the species work in evolution. Wipe out all the prey and hence they would be extinct. One of the major concerns is the survival of the species. Take as many as we need plus leave enough for the other species. Let"s assu(cid:373)e (cid:374)ot e(cid:448)erybody beha(cid:448)es that (cid:449)ay i(cid:374) a populatio(cid:374) Populations of predator influence prey and vice versa. Figure out which factors are really important and possibly predict what would happen based on population sizes. There seems to be some factor that limits the growth of population: carrying capacity. This formula n population size of prey, how fast a prey population grows. Influence of predators on prey: predator population. Looking at the ratio of prey and predators: birth rates for predators and prey, consumption by predator. To make the population stable: dn/dt = rn cnp. Trying to figure out what the interaction is like. Under which conditions is the prey population stable.
