This course involves the intersection of 3 concepts (evolutionary genetics, molecular genetics, transmission genetics) Genetics is required to know for all biologists. We will be integrating everything we learned in 206. Solutions manual are included in text package. There are animations and practice questions that may be helpful in the mastering website. Tutorial - group assignments, made by prof. , are posted beforehand. They are representative of test questions but can be solved with guidance during the tutorial. Quizzes start this week - online, very short. Will be at the end of this week (or next week if there are issues). Online quizzes are done through the masteringgenetics website. Some learning catalytics questions count as participation (completeness), some count for accuracy. For the reading, only focus on certain sections. Prof doesn"t want you to read all the chapters listed and will assign what to read/focus on.
