Document Summary

We need to take in double the amount of potassium, not sodium. Reaction is typically in peripheral nervous system. Visceral function control: internal function that we are typically unaware of. 2 ways information is processed from cns to peripheral nervous system. S, t, l are different branches of spinal nerves. There is a lot of information processed without having to go through cns. Spinal cord sits nicely in central canal. Cns has 3 mothers that serve to protect the system: most superficial to interior. Dorsal root carries information from receptor in the body. Cerebellum has a lot to do with motor control: how you walk and move. Cerebrum has a lot to do with memory. The signal goes right through spinal cord. The neuromuscular connection at the rectus femoris is where something happens with the neurons. When sarcolema is excited, the calcium channels change to make the thin and thick filaments do something.
