Document Summary

Lecture 8 development of body systems continued . All skeletal muscles originate from somites or somitomeres. tgf- will allow factor- ; myogenic cells are under the influence of these muscles to keep dividing by mitosis myoblasts. Are the proteins assemble into myofibrils, which is called sarcomeres. As the myotubes filled with myofibrils, their nuclei migrate to the periphery of the myotube. Which is differentiated into a muscle fiber which is not able to proliferate, multinucleated. There are many signalling pathways that will tell the somatic epithelium (myotome) to become muscles. Myf-5 and pax-3,-7 will help these myoblasts to express some other transcription factors: myogenin and myod. Whenever myogenin starts to be expressed (from transcription of myod and myf-5), myoblasts will then start to differentiate; they change shape and fuse to form the myotube. When myf-6 is formed, the myotube will mature to myofiber.
