These events are of human past can contain evidence of historical truth. Legends are usually about the quest, intellectual process, physical strength. 3. folktale: about humans (ordinary people0 or animals (fables) They entertain the audience or teach/justify patterns of behaviour. Syncretism of various versions of greek and latin sources. Greek origins of the gods, humans and the world at large. Roman myths: rome"s legendary foundation, religious institutions, moral models.
