Assignment #2 (introduction and thesis) due feb 9 (review details on blackboard) Two substantially different introductions and thesis statements (i. e. two separate/different starts to your essay) Podcast due feb 16; peer review due march 2 (details on blackboard) How to prevent: don"t do assignments at the last minute, keep careful notes: always document sources when you take notes, note: according to uoft policy: claiming ignorance doesn"t excuse any form of academic offence. All the activities, mental and physical, that go into writing what will eventually become a finished piece of work.
