Dynamic interrelationships among organisms (including people) and their surrounding (physical chemical, biological, geological, social/ cultural ) Issues are interdisciplinary (ex: economics, ethics, ecology, geology, engineering, political science, history, etc) Science is a systematic process for learning, thinking, and testing our knowledge about understanding the world. Use hypotheses to generate predictions specific statements that can be tested. Interpret test results support or reject hypothesis: good hypotheses can be wrong but lead to other questions.
