Environment canada: to preserve and enhance quality of canada"s natural environment, conserve renewable resources, protect water resources. All forms of relations (ethics, government) play a role in managing environment. Environment science: explores interactions of human with their physical/biological world: we depend on environment for air, water, food, shelter. Our actions cause modifications to it (good or bad). Good: better health, life spans, wealth, and mobility. Env sci: study of how the natural world works, how we affect our environment, how environment affects us. We are now trying to undo damage, use new methods to conserve environment.
