The rainforest needs to be protected (great barrier rainforest) He did not discuss the environment in regards to the other two pipelines. Water supply and water quality are the main things we need to talk about. Most water goes into growing food for people and animals. When we export grains from canada we are really exporting our water in the form of water. China does not have enough water to grow food, so it is cheaper to import the grains from canada. Water tables are falling in canada and other places. There are only so many permits for water. More and more industry takes away from the farms.
