Conducts a technical exam of a doc to determine the authenticity and of its relationship to a person, thing, event, or time. Involves natural variation, you will never write the exact same way as you did once. This actually makes it easier for examiners, to distinguish variation. If two signatures look exactly the same, it"s most likely copied because no two should be the same: looking for intro stroke, spacing, slope, i-dots, punctuation, connection of t"s and direction of strokes. Principles of identification: two or more writings are the product of one writer if the similarities, taken in combination. And sufficiently individual and there are no fundamental differences: ex. Fundamental difference indicates a difference in habits that shows another writer might be present, usually unexplainable reason to change habit. Prefer 8-10 samples for better exams: request: a voluntary writing for purpose for handwriting exam.
