Our body language affects the views others have of us. We may say some thing but our body language may unintentionally or intentionally say sth else. When we think about comm we think if interaction. We are also influenced by non verbals such as expanding (pride). When we feel small we close ourselves and mak us small. In terms of power we complement each other. Women feel less powerful than men chronically. Also relates to extent of which the child is confident (hand raise) Do our nonverbal affect how we feel. Yes it does, it goes bothways when u pretend to feel powerful, you will start to feel powerful. Doour bodies change our minds thoughts feelings hormones. Powerful mind certain confident optimistic think abstractly take more risks.
