What would happen if we were transported to mars with no government control. Hobbes, worst scenario due to human nature. If humans are not constrained by external forces/legal structure it will become the war of every individual vs individual. Does not have to do with good and evil. Rational and self interested (self preservation) human beings. We need an absolute ruler that has absolute authority. We need an authoritarian to impose law and order on us. Says that there"s no solution for the state of nature. Never let your citizens feel safer protecting themselves with arms over trusting the sovereign state to protect them. Once you no longer trust the police, we are on the edge of civil war. Our job is to honour our contract to disarm. Do not do unto other as you do not want to be done to. I refuse to steal from you if you steal from me .
