He rejected the individualism of liberalism and other idealist theories. For him, real freedom was possible only when ec and social equality existed. Liberty/freedom is a feature of interaction and connection not of isolation. Anarchism rejected the principle of authority (marxism), he advocated for self- management, stressed that power doesn"t exist anymore. How a group organizes itself determines whether it"s authoritarian or libertarian, he noticed the diff b/w being an authority (an expert) and being in authority.
