Entertainment for political communication: purposeful communication by political actors to achieve their goals; talk shows, appropriating music for campaign, etc. Entertainment as political communication: means the entertainment is articulating political ideas and values on its own not for partisan interest or political actor interest. There is representing politics to tell a story explicitly, or there is implicit material where entertainment re ects politics in a more subtle way; for example, game of thrones. It can affect your behaviours, beliefs, and attitudes towards politics without you even knowing it. You have a degree of partial control of what in uences you because if you don"t like something you will not watch it or be entertained by it. Lost time is when you know you are immersed in what"s happening. Narrative transportation is when the narrative you"re a part of (the entertainment you are immersed in), transports you mentally into that physical realm and that narrative.
