Aristotle thinks that the unjust person is responsible for being unjust because it was up to her to acquire this character, since we acquire our character through our actions. Two parts of the rational part of the soul: Both craft and intelligence aim at what is changeable or can be otherwise. Intelligence is concerned with living well in general. Is concerened with that is good and bad for human beings. One can engage in crafts virtuously or viciously. Doing badly voluntarily in crafts is not a sign that one is not excellent at the craft. Is the kind of correctness that reaches the good. Mary concludes (correctly) that she should help larry (because it"s a generous thing to do) and helps him. Knowledge of what would be virtuous to do in a certain occasion. Knowledge of what is healthy is not what makes one healthy. Doing just actions is not enough be just.
