N thinks that before modern day morality (morality that naturally comes to us) there was master morality: ancient greece as an example. When there"s a conquering race, then there is a mastering in morality. In master reality, you have good and bad: good, nobel, of higher rank, beautiful, happy, powerful, beloved of god, bad, common, vulgar, poor, powerless, cowardly, obedient, inferior b/w romans and jews. Jews were oppressed group, romans were conquering race. 1st step: to take what they call good is, and make it what we think is good and what we have. 2nd step: to take good and call it evil. How does the slave revolt get motivated? (2: resentment (french word for it) "ressentiment, hatred for your own powerlessness is what he means by resentment, resentment is a feeling of not getting the respect you deserve.
