Distinctiveness- difference between people reacting to the same situation: personality traits: Consist patterns of thoughts, feelings , or actions that distinguish people. It is a continues scale: the good zone is the middle zone, either of the extremes are not good. If a person is on the high end side (openness to exploration) they become impulsive and unpredictable. If a person is in the middle zone that person is dependable and a helpful friend. If they are too high on the scale then they will be very stubborn and obsessed on getting everything done on time. If a person it too low on the scale then they are known to be very flexible and are perceived to sloppy and unreliable: extraversion, reflects how outgoing you are.
