Proacive interference previously learned informaion interferes with the retenion of new informaion. 1st list of words is interfering with the 2nd list of words. Retroacive new informaion impairs the retenion of previously learned informaion. 2nd list of words is interfering with the 1st list of words. Two lists of 20 words seen for 6 seconds.
