Attribution: the causes we attribute for our behavior, people"s behavior and behavior in general. Internal attributions: attribution we make based on the way that person is. External attributions: attributions we make based on something someone is doing. Ie: because they are yelling that person is mad. Ie: because they are running away. (we can see the situation; its obvious to us. Ie: that person failed because they were busy and couldn"t study o o o o o: we blame victims because it gives us that feeling of security we wont make. Self-serving bias: human beings will give themselves the benefit of the doubt until forced to do otherwise that mistake so it could never happen to us. Stable attribute: attribute based on a constant variable ie: reason you did well on the test is b/c you got help. Self-serving bias for others is called collaborative bias: based on what we see.
