If the child already has a disability, and they live in a poor home environment, it will be more difficult for the child to fulfill his/her capabilities. Throughout the world, the more resources you have, the better chance for treatment. Poverty also relates to reduced maternal care during pregnancy, e. g. poor nutrition, smoking, drug addiction. This shows the proportion of children who do not obtain proper immunization at birth. The white population is the least problematic and the black population has the least immunization percentages. If the child is not immunized, there is a higher chance for the child to become disabled. Children who have disabilities, usually have behavioural problems as well. Black students have the highest rates of suspension, and after that american indians. Hispanic students have the highest school dropout rates. Black students have the second highest school dropout rates. Children who have learning disabilities have a hard time getting through school.
