Light is energy and it has various properties. The light comes in from the front of the eye. It enters through the lens and it accommodates in order to focus the light onto the rear part of the eye. The light is focused onto the retina which is divided into many sections. Problems with the lens include problems in focus. We can have problems associated with the retina, i. e. problem in the rods and cones can create a blind spot.
