Document Summary
The answer doesn"t matter, it"s the process of thinking that you go through when thinking about the answer, and about the chicken. This is sort of like theory of mind. Theory of mind: ability to attribute mental states to self and others, and to understand that other"s state of mind is different than our own. It gives is us insight into their insights and why they do what they do. Because when you think about it we can view behaviour, structure of the brain, etc. but we can"t very easily imagine the mind. And it"s because of this we have to construct theories that tap into these processes. Theory in the theory of mind is that we think that other people have minds. A person"s mental states are affected by factors like intentions, others, etc. Understanding of mind is fundamental to understand the social world.
