Pregnancy and hormonal test: tests detect hcg (human chorionic honadotropin hormone, hcg- only present after fertilization of an egg. Stages of prenatal development: 6 weeks, all basic organs present, reference changes from embryo to fetus occurs. Sry: sry gene on y-chromosome determines male development, sry= sex determining region of the y-chromsome, sry is what makes an embryo male, therefore if you lack sry you lack the ability to develop as a male.
