Most religions say the fact that a person is menstruating is not treated fairly. It is the ritual of menstruation in jewish religion. There are rituals where white cloth is used to test if she is clean. The cloth is called an edh (which is called a witness) No contact with the husband or anyone really. Shes not to be seen naked and her period is a sign of her curse. She is outside of that image of god, outside of that half image of man and woman. When on your period you are literally a different person that cannot handle god. It"s a sign of the punishment and its best if we study this symbolically. It is how women are to be treated, like an expansion of the story of sin. Intercourse with a niddah women is dirty and stains the man: its contagious.
