The way people are educated or treated during the educaion process is seen in the fact that teachers hold diferent expectaions about students based on factors such as race and gender. For example, african americans are expected to perform more poorly than whites. Factors that afect people"s decisions on which university to atend depends on the following factors: In canada, the further you live from a university, the less likely you are too travel that far and atend that university. This is especially true for low income families. High income families can aford the commute and thus are able to send their kids far away to live on campus. Toronto area universiies: peel district school board is 65%. 25% boys and 13% girls in private schools. 29% boys and 49% girls from private schools. These university choices are based on socioeconomic status.
