Research still finds teachers educate girls/boys differently (gender bias still apparent) Enrollment has increased, suggests women have come a long way. Inequality in the fields of study women participate in. When women enter male dominated fields, men drop out. Teachers have gendered ideals and treat students differently based on these (teacher expectations) In econ developed countries strong patterns of gendered segregation are present, opposite for under developed nations. North american right to choose is an expression of self (not everyone has agency to enact choice) What we do often falls around gendered lines. When talking about gender, its important to talk about girls and boys. Single sexed schooling based on premise girls/boys learn differently. They are not different, no support for single sexed schooling.
