What"s going on? it is said that having any college/university education tend to get a high-paying job easier. However, getting a good professional job is harder now than when our parents looking for one. Less employment: social entity: a grouping of individuals with some awareness that they are members of the group. Ie: religion group, class, citizens: social structure: the relationships among the individual parts of the entity. Status : social culture, beliefs: broad ideas about the social entity and how the world works. Causal models: diagrams that show cause and effect relationships: simple effect: Interpretation: male and female power differences and proportion of male employees affect number of gender harassment incidents: indirect effect: Interpretation: job satisfaction is mediator: pay gives job satisfaction, which prevents employees not quitting. Without job satisfaction as a mediator, employees will quit even getting paid: interaction effect:-moderating effect. Job: when a third variable can change or moderate the relationship between two other variables.
