Concern that funding for women"s groups are diminishing over recent years. In 2010 federal govt defunded/ reduced funding for many women"s groups including canadian research institute for the advancement of women (criaw). Dramatic increase in # of women in workforce but women continue to perform most labour in home including childcare and elder care.
