Glass ceiling you can get promoted up to a certain point, and that point is like an invisible barrier. 2: both males and females are recently declining, this is the point of the great recession (2008-2010), it affected the progress of women. Note: the number of males in management is fluctuating, males have been declining since about 2004, females had a slight decline since about 2009. Note: the progress has been generally upward, the gap is slowly going to decline, because the fact of females becoming senior managers is increasing. 4: overall, women are about 30% senior managers, and about 37% of other, non- senior managers, authority problem women are less likely to be hired or promoted to senior managers.
