The six problems: sex segregation in jobs and occupations. Differences in broad occupations: sex seems to affect occupation women decide to enter, one general occupation law ( different types of layers, the more we decide it up the more we see sex segregation) Differences in industries: different industries have differet dominance! Health dominated by women and construction dominated by men. Differences in establishments: firms etc for profits/ not for profit. Some have more men or women, ex. High end restaurants have mostly men o (except for that women who coat checks) Less expensive rests have more female servers. Some women want to different work, the problem is that men"s work is more highly thought of, and more highly rewarded.
