Northern europe has the freest press and least censorship. Canada is generally excellent, but there are continuing threats to our free press. Compared to most countries around the globe we have quit a lot of press freedom, but we still have threats the government makes it difficult for press to access goverbment related info. Exists in different degrees around the world. Years after year they do surveys to find out how much censoriship governments are doing. Military information- there are technical details that if released can put the troops in danger if relesesed so it is ok to censor. Human rights abuses happens a lot it is upsetting when the public finds out then they do not want to support the military so that is why the government censors it. Financial information- the way that the government spends money, often times this censorship is questionable because they censor information so that people do not question how they spend the money.
