Personal: diaries of one"s life , reflecting interest of bloggers", range of topics. Topical blogs: usually journalistic in nature, cover a topic, often updated more frequently than personal blogs. Corporate blog: written by, officially associated with company, combine company and industry news. Bloggers aren"t journalists: req for content less rigid, writing informed by opinion, make connections, reject marketing language. Mindfulness is not a jerk what is mindfulness. The philosopher"s little black book plato doesn"t think we can learn. Social networks: web-based services that allow individuals to create public profile, articulate list of other users, connect. Sns: user centric meant to bring attention to users of system. Uniqueness: make yourself visible, your social networks, not necessarily to meet new people (but latent ties), but communicate with extended social network.
