Write for someone: not just web design, but those learning web design for 1st time and looking to create personal website (eg travel blog) Motivations for sharing: makes them look smart, funny, cutting-edge, interesting -> how it will make them look to others. Exercise 9: do a rhetorical analysis on post from past student. Identify core audience, analyze of they cater to that audience. Exercise 10: in detail, define who you are writing to and what kind of content you are looking for, discuss if you are addressing this audiences needs.
