Document Summary

Events are similar to mitosis except the cells are haploid. Cross with a plant/animal that has recessive trait. Used to determine genotype ratio of another plant/animal. Oral cavity, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, duodenum, jejunum, ileum, caecum, ascending colon, transverse colon, descending colon, rectum, anus. Nasal cavity, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi, bronchioles, alveoli. Diaphragm moves down, ribcage moves up and out. The volume increases, pressure decreases and air moves in. The volume decreases, pressure increases and air moves out. A virus is a non-cellular particle made up of protein covered genetic material that can invade living cells. Genetic material can be either dna or rna. Rna virus enters the host cell and acts as messenger rna to produce its own components. Retroviruses are rna viruses that enters the cell and produces viral dna using reverse transcription. Auxins stumulate cell elongation/division and regulates cell expansion in response to light and gravity.
